You want to use B2B as a gateway to process outbound files.How do you configure B2B to poll for files in a folder and send them out to a trading partner?SolutionBy default B2B is configured to dequeue outbound messages from IP_OUT_QUEUE. If you want B2B to poll a folder for outbound messages, perform the following steps.1) Log on to the B2B Console.2) Navigate to Partners -> Trading Partners -> 3) Click Capabilities.4) Click Create in the 'Internal Delivery Channels' block at the end of the page.5) Complete Step 1.For example:Name: B2B File OutboundIs Inbound: No6) Click Next and complete Step 2.For example:General Name: B2B File OutboundTransport Protocol: FileTransport Server:Select 'Create New'.Name: B2B File OutboundFill in appropriate information for the following fields and the Transport Server parameters that follow these fields.Host Name:IP Address:Username:Password:Endpoint:Select 'Create New'.URI: (absolute path to folder on the host machine containing the files going out to trading partner)7) Click Next to review the information you just entered.8) Click Finish.9) Nagivate to Agreements -> .10) Click Update (blue pencil icon) for the responder entry for your trading partner to set the new file outbound internal delivery channel. Right now it is set to B2B Outbound. Change this to the new outbound internal delivery channel you created above. Click Apply. Do this for all appropriate responder entries for your trading partner.11) After completing changes, Click Validate to approve the agreement for deployment.12) Redeploy the agreement.13 Test to verify B2B is polling files and sending them to the trading partner. The filename format of the outgoing file should be at least __.dat so that B2B has enough information to find the agreement.
