SURVEY HIGHLIGHTS
Catchment Area surveyed
We surveyed the catchment area in the range of 0-13 km from Project Site covering over 20 schools ranging from lower to higher fee structure thereby determining the already established areas from where we will have to attract students for our 1st year.
Area under survey included:
Sector - 4,5,3A, 7, Palamvihar, New PalamVihar, West Rajiv Nagar, Ashok Puri, Laxman Nagar, Dayanand Colony.

• Upcoming Dense population area near the project site. Direct competition from DPS sec 102.
• Immediate Students could be attracted from the radius of 05 -10 km and above in the session 18-19.
• Strong branding & marketing strategies will be required to get a good jump-start number. Tentatively 150-200 max.
• Starting from 5 km distance and above, dense population area starts sec-9, sec-10, sec-4, sec-5, sec-3, PalamVihar, Ashok Vihar, Shivji Colony.
• Future catchment of Dwarka Expressway highway having a catchment of 20 km on highways. Upcoming apartments in the zone as per areas mentioned above.
• Good schools have higher fee structure having admission charges over 1.20 lacs and tuition fees of around Rs6000-10000.
• Majority of schools in the catchment region are of low fee structurewherein school had tuition fee in the range of Rs1500-3000. Along with admission charges in the range of 30-50k.
• A common trend found in good school facilities are strong transport facilities catering to catchment of 0-20km. Having transport fees in the range Rs1900-3500 per month. Nursery kids are transported in small buses having seat capacity of 25 seats.For senior students, the buses have a capacity of 35-50 seats.

• All buses have CCTV and GPRS facilities. DPS providing AC buses.
• Most of the schools were established in the year 2002-2010.
• Centrally Air-conditioned, impressive reception looks with smart executives to politely guide through admission procedure. GEMS were the best school, which showed us around the campus during school hours and admission councilor gave us adequate time to explain the benefits of admission and school. Discounts were not spoken off or discussed.
• A registration fee was in the range of Rs300-1000 for good schools.
• Edusport and Smart classes were common in good schools to which our project will serve as a competition.
• Co-curricular activities were highlighted to project that they believed in development of child during their primary or junior years that they let the kids explore their creativity, kids could take up one activity such as drama, dance, music or xyz on a full time basis.
• Good sports facility and a wide range of co-curricular activities.
• Special features were observed in GEMS International school, where they had an organic farm built by students and they conduct a fair, were parents come down to buy organic vegetables from the farm. The amount collected is donated or used for better purpose.
• Our school is going to come up in an area that is going to cater to parents having a paying capacity of 1-1.5 lacs as admission fees and 65-85k as annual tuition fees. Accordingly for IB, this may increase by 20-25% but with increased facilities.
• Day care concept could be explored in areas near the project site. That will be the need of the catchment area in the coming years.
