Keep it simple, and remember that you can adjust your plan over the next few weeks.We'll be going in-depth together on your financial goals, ideal customer, marketing, andsocial media plans.If you're in the process of reinventing parts of your business in light of current events,this is the place to get those ideas documented. You can create separate documents forcourses, launch plans, or to describe new products separately.

Ugh! 40 page business plans are for the birds. Do you know how many of my clients haveinvested hours on business plans only to have their industries disrupted overnight (ahem,pandemic) - and poof - those 40 pages were worthless? My friend, unless you're going for a bank loan or pitching a VC, skip 39 pages of work,organize those thoughts, and get yourself to work! A couple of things to note:

How much will you charge? What is your pricing strategy? For example, Price Leader("generic brand"), Premium/Luxury, or somewhere in the middle. What's your model? Subscription, tiered pricing, per-service, and retainer are someexamples.How much do you want to make between July and the end of 2020 (top line salesrevenue)?

Ideal Customer: describe your ideal customer - who most needs your product or service?Male or female? You might includes (demographics) age range, family make up, educationlevel, income, where he or she lives, career; (psychographics) hopes, fears, goals, beliefs,opinions, values Product / Service: provide a brief description of your product or service - what are youselling? How is it different and better than what's currently on the market? Pricing + Sales Goals:

Marketing + Sales: What channels will you use to market your products or services? Howwill you reach your prospects and move them along the path to buying? Social media, tradeshows, email marketing, and outbound sales teams are a few examples. Competitors: Who are your direct competitors (those that offer products or services closestto yours targeting your ideal customer at a similar price point)?
