Usage
We use present simple tense when :
1. It is a fact or general.
• The sun rises in the east.
• Sugar is sweet.
Using
2.the action is repeated or usual. It can be a habit, a hobby, a daily.
• I get up at six o’clock everyday.• He always takes a shower every
morning.
Usage
Chris: Hi, Dave.
Dave: Hi. You do not look well. What’s wrong?
Chris: I feel very tired.
Dave: It’s your own fault, Chris. You work too hard.
Chris: My fault?! You never help me with the housework. I’m the one that get up at 6 o’clock, make the breakfast and the beds before I catch the 7:15 train to work.
Dave: But you can relax in the evenings.
Chris: No I can’t! I come home at 5 o’clock, water the plants, clean the house, then cook the dinner while you sit and watch TV, and after that…..
Dave: And after that?
Chris: I walk the dog while you play computer games.

• Make a group of six-seven and come to get a set of flashcards from the teacher.
• While the music is playing, the students start ordering the flashcards in to a sentence.
• When the music is stopped, the groups complete the sentences correctly.

• The first student begin a story by answering the teacher’s question
• Then the next student continually tell the story from the first student – say at least one sentence
