Lock system
Your key number is shown on theplate. If you should lose your keysor if you need additional keys,duplicates can be made using thekey number.
The engine immobiliser systemis a theft prevention system. The engine will start only whenthe electronic code in the chipinside the key corresponds tothe registered ID code for thevehicle.
The wireless remote controlsystem can lock or unlock all theside doors and back door from adistance within approximately1m of the vehicle.
To lock and unlock all the sidedoors and back door, push theswitches of the key slowly andsecurely.

Adjusting front seats
1. Seat position adjusting leverPull the lever up. Then slide the seatto the desired position with slightbody pressure and release the lever.
2. Seatback angle adjusting leverLean forward and pull the leverbackward. Then lean back to thedesired angle and release the lever.
Seat beltsTo fasten your belt, pull it out of theretractor and insert the tab into thebuckle.You will hear a click when the tablocks into the buckle.The seat belt length automaticallyadjusts to your size and the seatposition.
Fold-down rear seat1. Push the head restraints to thelowest position.2. Unlock and fold down the seatbackwhile pulling the straps.

Bonnet
To open the bonnet:1. Pull the bonnet lock re lease
lever. The bonnet will spring upslightly.
2. In front of the vehicle, pull upon the auxiliary catch lever andlift the hood.
3. Hold the bonnet open byinserting the support rod intothe slot.
Fuel tank cap
1. Open the fuel filler door.
2. To remove the fuel tank cap,insert the key and turn itcounterclockwise by 45degrees (to point 1), and thenturn it clockwise by 45 degrees(to point 2). Remove the key.
3. Turn the cap slowlycounterclockwise, then pauseslightly before removing it.After removing the cap, hang iton the cap hanger.
After refueling, turn the fuel tankcap clockwise, without insertingthe key.
Fuel type:
Gasoline engine: unleadedgasoline with a RON of 95 orhigher. Diesel engine: Diesel fuel with acetane number of 47 or higher.Tank capacity: 35 l.

To change the steering wheelangle, hold the steeringwheel, push down the lockrelease lever, tilt the steeringwheel to the desired angleand return the lever to itsoriginal position.

To turn on the windscreen wipers,move the lever to the desiredsetting. The key must be in the « ON » position.

For a single sweep, push the leverup and release it.
To spray washer fluid, pull thelever toward you.
To turn on the lights: Twist theheadlight/t urn signal leverknob.Position 1: Parking, tail, licenseplate and instrument panel lightsPosition 2: Headlights and all theabove
High-Low beamsFor high beams, turn theheadlights on and push the leveraway from you (position 1). Pull the lever toward you (position 2) for low beams.To flash the high beam headlights,pull the lever all the way back(position 3). The high beamheadlights turn off when yourelease the lever.
To turn on the rear window wiper,twist the lever knob upward(Position 1)The key must be in the « ON »positionTo spray washer fluid on the rearwindow twist the knob upward ordownward as far as it will go(position 2 or 3). The knobautomatically returns from thesepositions after you release it.

Power windows(on some models)
Operating the windows:Use the switch on the driver’sand front passenger’s door.The window moves as long asyou hold the switch.
To open: Press down the switch.To close: Pull up the switch.
The ignition key must be in the“ON” position.

Removing the spare tyre
1. Remove the spare tyre coverand tool tray.
2. Loosen the bolt and remove it.
Then take the spare tyre out ofthe vehicle.
Positioning the jack
Position the jack at the correctjack point as shown.
Raising your vehicle
After making sure that no one isin the vehicle, raise it highenough so that the spare tyrecan be installed.
