Bumby Ave.407.228.1220Fri, June 1, 6pm, $10 - $15With the kazoo wielding songstress Beebs as their fearless leader, BaHMM is taking audiences by surprise with their high energy performances, and a refreshing never before heard blend of psychedelic rock, funk, blues, and hip-hop. Beebs and Her Money Makers, or “BaHMM!” for short made a BIG bang in 2011 with the release of their EP, “Welcome to Bartertown”. Boasting a huge lineup of performers, including “Glow Hoopers” and “JamBots”, BaHMM hit the road armed with nothing but their sassy songs and funky hard pounding grooves. In two short years they’ve forged their way to the top of their music scene, selling out nearly every show they’ve played to date. Some of the acts BaHMM has rocked the stage with include Zach Deputy, Keller Williams, The Lee Boys, BadFish, Dumpstaphunk, 100 Monkeys, Bobby Lee Rodgers, Big Bad VooDoo Daddy, Perpetual Groove, and many more! With the upcoming release of their highly anticipated new full length studio album, and a comic book based on the superhero alter egos of the band by comic book artist Tony Baldini, 2012 looks to be another year of powerhouse performances by these evo-lutionary revolutionaries of love and music!

EVERY SUNDAY10:30 PM - 2 AM

OK, so first of all, the bro’s responsible for that song you just can’t get rid of, aren’t even bros... Redfoo is SkyBlu’s Uncle, meaning that Redfoo’s father, music mogul Berry Gordy, is also SkyBlu’s grandfather. And yes, that Berry Gordy. RedFoo and SkyBlu both grew up in the affluent Los Angeles neighborhood Pacific Palisades, where they formed the group LMFAO in 2006. The duo has said its original name was Sexe Dude (read as Sexy Dudes) subsequently changing it at the advice of their grandmother. Now let’s hear the truth from the original party rockers...

aXis: Everyone seems to have an opinion on your name, but what is your official story for coming up with ‘LMFAO’?Sky Blu: Because our grandma insisted on it. She said ‘Your current name makes me wanna laugh my friggin ass off” because our current name was ‘sexy dudes’, and she didn’t like it. She said ‘We know you’re sexy dudes. Everybody does. Silly boys, put some clothes on’, and then she wrote ‘LMFAO’.

aXis: And your personal denominations of Sky Blu and Red Foo?Red Foo: Red Foo, came from when I was younger, people used to say ‘You’s a fool!’ and i said not only am I a fool, I also have red hair. Now you might say, this is brown, but this is actually red.Sky Blu: My parents were in the circus. So you know, my mom was pregnant and she gave birth and they were practicing something there... So I fell into the cannon and it shot me up into the sky, so the guy on stilts caught me said ‘we’re gonna name you Sky.’

aXis: How has your life’s changed since party rocking the Super Bowl and taking your career’s from club to the arena status?Sky Blu: I think the only difference is... It’s like monopoly. We’re still the same players playing monopoly except now we’re winning the game. And now we’re in ‘protection’ mode, and there’s ‘let’s get more’ mode. You know? We own these properties so let’s put some houses on them so when people walk by, you know? And by properties we mean ‘Miami,’ ‘I’m not a whore’ and so on. And our peer group is different and we have a real chance to achieve our dreams. We wrote down our goals and we’re just getting closer.

aXis: So, last time in town, you played a gig for XL106.7 at the House of Blues, then went to Blue Martini and rocked it like a house party. Is that your scene?Sky Blu: We’re really just influenced by, and wanted to incorporate, the current real-ity we’re living. Like when Kanye first started off he was talking how he was making a spectacle, how to stay on top, things like that. So when me and Foo first started out in the clubs, and we were so happy to be in there… Now, people love us in the club. We’re like a spectacle, we’ll come in the club and everyone will be watching us. We’ll be able to be able to spray champagne on everybody and they’re like, “Yeah! Let’s go crazy!” So, we made a song called “Champagne Showers.” It’s just our reality—it’s what we live and what we’re doing. The evolution of LMFAO is just work who we are, we have to be where the parties are and we have to create the community, you know what I’m saying?

aXis: If you guys had a theme, besides partying, what would it be?Red Foo: Yeah, I mean that’s the most awesome part. All of our lives people have been talking about rules. Like, you’ve got to go to college—I dropped out of high school. I don’t even have a GDE or anything—I just dropped out. That’s just what I wanted to do. “No rules”: That’s definitely true to what we say. We don’t like rules.

aXis: Any advice for the Orlando faithful that want to rage with you guys post show? Sky Blu: Hydrate yourself, because it’s gonna be a long one.

JUNE 21 - 23, 2012

Earning the title of Red Bull Thre3style National Champion is no easy task. DJs will have to prove their skills in a series of qualifying battles before they reach the national stage. Red Bull Thre3Style is an innovative concept that gives highly skilled DJs a global platform to showcase their skills, battle and gain notoriety by rockin’ the dance floor. Unlike other DJ battles that are based on solely technical aspects, Red Bull Thre3style has a creative and original format that seeks to find the DJ that has best perfected the true art of “party rockin’.” The nation’s top DJ will vie for the audience and judges’ favor, each with a 15-minute set that MUST contain at least three different musical genres.
