The Association for Women in Computing (AWC) is a national not-for-profit, professional organization for individuals with an interest in information technology.
AWC is dedicated to the advancement of women in the fields of computing, business, industry, science, education, government, and the military.
Founded December 5, 1978, AWC provides its members with access to a diverse network of colleagues by building on the strength, breadth and diversity of its member.
AWC provides a way to share experiences and offers many benefits for its members, including membership in the Houston chapter, the national AWC organization, and the Federation of Houston Professional Women (FHPW).
