is a multinational company associating the group of production and business companies operating in the cellulose-paper industry. The SHP Group covers 10 companies in 6 countries of Europe with annual turnover of EUR 220 mil. In its six manufacturing plants, the SHP Group makes 170 thousand tons of paper annually.

The SHP Group belongs to the largest producers of hygienic papers in the Central and South-Eastern Europe and is an active member of the European Tissue Symposium (ETS).

HARMONY PROFESSIONAL AND PALOMA PROFESSIONAL

The brands of Harmony Professional and Paloma Professional fall into the SHP Group and cover the products of professional hygiene Away from Home that provide functional solutions in the area of hygiene for public institutions and premises, companies making their business within the HORECA segment as well as solutions for the areas of industry, production, wellness & spa, and healthcare. The brands build on several key values and principles such as tradition, trust, honesty and reliability, flexibility, individual and professional approach. The declared values and principles reflect in the complex approach to customers, in the communication with them, in the production process as well as within the business relations.

Products of the professional hygiene manufactured in the plants of SHP Harmanec, a.s., SHP INTIM PAPIR, d.o.o., SHP Slavošovce, a.s., Paloma d.d. Sladki Vrh and Ceršak are manufactured from semi-finished paper with the FSC certificate declaring a responsible approach of SHP Group when purchasing cellulose and waste paper. The production raw materials are harmless to health and certified for a short-term contact with foodstuff.

The product portfolio of the Away from home segment consists of 3 product lines of paper hygiene – Economic, Comfort, and Premium. The roll toilet paper, for which the functional qualities must be accompanied also by an aesthetic function, is suitable for the places with lower frequency of visitors, HORECA facilities, more luxurious and representative areas. The two-ply and three-ply toilet paper with decorative embossing is primarily appropriate for these areas. For the facilities where the attention is put on the functional properties and value for money is the one-ply and two-ply roll toilet paper with microembossing or edge embosser. The lenght and type of paper is adapted to various requirements and types of customers.

Toilets with higher frequency of visitors have typically higher consumption of toilet paper.The requirements for this kind of product are functionality, good solubility, sufficiently long winding and value for money. Jumbo toilet paper with the roll diameter of 19 and 26 centimetres (TNS, 2015) is the most frequently required product. The combination of paper, various winding lengths and functional microembossing or joining the plies with edge embosser allows the customers to choose the economical solution. Use of the jumbo toilet paper reduces the demands for frequent change of toilet paper in the facilities which are exposed to high number of visitors and at the same time it is the economical choice too.

Folded toilet paper is a suitable product for facilities that require not only functional properties of a product but also the value for many. Product is specified for dispensers that protect the unused sheets. From the point of view of hygiene this product is optimal for HORECA facilities that do not need to change the toilet paper after the exchange of visitors in a room but the dispenser is easily refilled with the needed number of sheets. The optimal combination of white recycled paper or pure pulp and microembossing with little waves is not only functional and economical but at the same time an aesthetic solution for toilets and bathrooms.

If a larger surface needs to be washed or wiped, the rolled paper towels, which are becoming more and more preferred, are an ideal choice.
