aw15 la event recap
TRANSCRIPT
On August 12th Ted’s North American PR team hosted over 170 stylists, editors, celebrities,
influencers, license partners, and business partners at the Carondolet House in downtown Los
Angeles to celebrate the AW15 collection launch.
The PR team transformed the villa into a wondrous maze of curiosities inspired by the AW15
‘Curiosities’ campaign.
Romantic melodies sung in French floated from room to room while guests enjoyed specialty cocktails
and gourmet treats courtesy of chef Alan Dunn. Anonymous New York performance artists Gill & Jill
Bumby provided fashion forecasting with nothing more than their manual typewriters and charming
wit, and guests were lined up, excitedly awaiting their personal appraisals.
Upon entering the space through a bewitching hallway with an arched ceiling reminiscent of our New
York City event space guests made their way into a whimsical courtyard and were faced with a scene
of two models, dressed in the likeness of the actors in the brand film, encapsulated within two life-
size bell jars.
The brand film played on loop and guests praised the beauty and style that was Ted’s AW15
collection.
