OUR FOOTPRINTWe continually seek to expand our footprint, particularly in Africa. USB-ED has a presence in three South African provinces, Western Cape (Cape Town), Gauteng (Johannesburg) and Kwa-Zulu-Natal (Durban). We also offer programmes in Botswana, Ethiopia, Kenya, Lesotho, Mauritius, Mozambique, Namibia, Nigeria, Swaziland, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe and beyond Africa in the United Arab Emirates.

At USB-ED we not only take learning seriously, but we also approach it differently. Our learning interventions are distinguished by the differen-tiators of process and delivery, providing leaders and managers with a solid theoretical under-pinning embedded through focused practical application in order to solve real world problems. Participants are immersed in the learning pro-cess, equipped with the tools and skills to add significant value to the current or future organ-isations. This is achieved by means of learning that is both socially and contextually based which is delivered in a vibrant and meaningful way.

In the design of our learning interventions we focus on developing leaders through:

• Knowing: The conceptual expertise andawareness of facts, frameworks andtheories known to leaders

• Becoming: The understanding of “who Iam” and “who I want to be”, throughreflection and practice.

• Relating: The use of collaborativepractices to exchange ideas in order toharness the best of collective and diverseknowledge.

This is why we refer to the USB-ED Way as a learning ecosystem. When you enrol in a USB-ED learning intervention, you are making a commitment to being an active participant in a community of learning…you are not simply signing-up to learn but to be fully engaged.
