    Protecting the LCD paneland screenp Do not allow direct sunlight to fall on the

    LCD screen when this product is not beingused. Extended exposure to direct sunlightcan result in LCD screen malfunction dueto the resulting high temperatures.

    p When using a cellular phone, keep the an-tenna of the cellular phone away from theLCD screen to prevent disruption of thevideo in the form of spots, colored stripes,etc.

    the route guidance.! Press and hold the center of Multi-con-

    trol to mute the AV (Audio and Video)source. To cancel the muting, press andhold it again.

    Protecting your product from theftp This function is available for AVIC-X930BT

    and AVIC-X9310BT.The front panel can be detached from the navi-gation system to discourage theft, as de-scribed below.

    CAUTION! Do not expose the front panel to excessive

    shock or disassemble it.! Never grip the buttons tightly or use force

    when removing or attaching.! Keep the front panel out of reach of small chil-

    dren to prevent them from putting it in theirmouths.

    ! After removing the front panel, keep it in asafe place so it is not scratched or damaged.

    ! Keep the front panel out of direct sunlight andhigh temperatures.

    ! When removing or attaching the front panel,do so after turning the ignition switch off(ACC OFF).

    while the front panel is removed from thenavigation system.

    1 Press and hold the Detach button, andslide it down.

    When you release your finger, the bottom ofthe front panel separates slightly from the na-vigation system.

    2 Gently grip the bottom of the frontpanel and slowly pull it outward.

(AVIC FEEDSwill be available on our website.) Storing thecustomized POI properly and inserting the SDmemory card enables the system to use thedata for searches.

    1 Store the item into the SD memory cardby using the AVIC FEEDS.
