Mr. Abdulla Al Sharhan, our Chairman, together with the board of trustees, understood that not all students are academic and that there was a need for vocational training in Kuwait for non-academic students to thrive and flourish.
Introduction
In 2004, Mr. Abdulla Al Sharhan, with the board of trustees, opened the first vocational college in Kuwait, on 70,000 square meters of land, now with 6 buildings and over 3000 students spread across all sectors
The Australian College of Kuwait now offers Bachelor
Degree and diploma courses in the following.
• Oil and Gas • Maritime • Business • Civil Engineering • Mechanical Engineering • Electrical Engineering • Aviation

We are the only college with its own Boeing 737-200
in the Middle East
In 2010 the Aviation department gained the Directorate of General Civil Aviation (DGCA) Kuwait accreditation, approved KCASR Part-147 Maintenance Training Organization..

In 2011 we gained our European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) Part-147 accreditation.

In 2012 we gained our General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) approved U.A.E. CAR-147 Maintenance Training Organisation. Making us the ONLY regional college that carries all 3 accreditations.

On the 1st of September 2015,we obtained our latest accreditation from the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) based in Montréal, Quebec.

Having 4 accreditations makes us possibly the only college in the world that carries all of these accreditation from different, reputable, regulating authorities. In addition to the 4 accreditations we are an approved EASA examination venue. By obtaining these accreditations we are able to ensure the student graduates with the highest qualifications and are fully prepared for the task ahead.

Basic Training Part 147 The B-1.1 / B-2 program consist of 2400hrs. 1400 theoretical hours in our fully approved facility equipped with the latest smart boards.

700 practical hours on our ACK B737-200, CF6 Engine and in our fully equipped sheet metal workshop.

With the possibility of proceeding onto a Bachelor Degree program that is very unique to the Australian College of Kuwait.
Bachelor Degree Pathway
The Bachelor Degree pathway for students who complete their diploma program with a minimum GPA of 2.67 will have the opportunity to complete a Bachelor Degree in:
