ENGINEERING : Avcorp has a diversity of engineering talent that crosses specific areas including: Manufacturing, Quality, Design, and Project Engineering. Avcorp seeks engineers with an aerospace or manufacturing background, who have excellent technical skills and first-rate communication skills.

DESIGN ENGINEERS : Disposition of non-confirming material with the Material Review Board (MRB), interpret technical requirements in preparation of layouts and detail design information for use in manufacture or approval of a product or process, and prepare technical drawings and technical publications.

OUR MANUFACTURING ENGINEER/TECHNOLOGIST’S

are flexible & organized with a proven ability to handle tight deadlines and work in a fast-paced high-tech environment.

OUR TOOLING DESIGNERS / ENGINEERS Design Final Assembly Jigs & Fixtures; Interpret technical requirements and design information in preparation of tooling drawings and laser tracker models, Consult with structural designers and manufacturing engineers on design tolerances and tooling concepts.

PROGRAM MANAGER: The program manager reports to the Director, Programs and liaise with all internal stakeholders as well as taking ownership for the external customer relationship and the overall performance of the assigned program.

PRODUCTION CONTROLLER : This key role is responsible for scheduling and coordinating work to the shop floor and for procuring shop supplies in a manufacturing environment. We are looking for manufacturing and MRP experience, operations management background and education, and APICS certification.

STRATEGIC SOURCING SPECIALIST : This position is responsible for assisting in the development and execution of strategies to ensure maximization of corporate cost competitiveness in the market. You will prepare and issue RFQ’s and RFP’s for products and services to meet productivity initiatives, and negotiate long term agreements with the Contracts Administrator.

MANUFACTURING ESTIMATOR: An individual with knowledge of manufacturing methods relating to assembly, sheet metal, machining and bonding processes. Working through complex engineering documents/bill of materials, you will use excellent written and verbal communication skills to prepare estimates.
