ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE & ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES Fitzwater 101When you choose an Environmental Science/Studies major, you’ll tackle some of the toughest environmental issues that challenge our world today. With our 1,200-acre living learning laboratory nestled between Mt. Monadnock and Pearly Pond, you’ll conduct important fieldwork on campus in the woods, wetlands, lakeshores, trails and gardens. With your knowledge, you’ll be prepared to be a key player in the “green economy.”

MASTER OF PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT STUDIES Petrocelli 114The Master of Physician Assistant Studies (MPAS) program is designed to train outstanding PAs who are compassionate and patient-centered providers. Our program was recently ranked #2 in the nation by the Rural Health Research Center (2016) for producing a high proportion of graduates that go on to work in rural health-care. Clinical training will include rotations throughout the underserved regions of New Hampshire and Vermont.

You’ll have 24 Division II varsity teams to cover on and off campus, and broadcast technology at your disposal in the Marlin Fitzwater Center for Communication. Build knowledge for entry-level positions in secondary sports, minor league clubs, college athletics or smaller geographic markets, and the networking and strategy skills that can eventually lead to high-visibility careers in major markets.

As an Anthropology major, you can explore the world through the lenses of biology and culture while embracing its diversity. EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES Fitzwater 102As an Emergency Medical Services (EMS) major, you will study the field of rapid response while developing the critical thinking and decision-making skills needed to manage emergency situations. Although this non-clinical program does not lead to EMT or paramedic certification, you can work on campus as a security officer, EMT or firefighter!

PSYCHOLOGY Marcucella 102If you are fascinated by human behavior and how the mind works, Psychology may be the perfect major for you. You will be prepared to observe, analyze, research and design experiments while studying interpersonal relationships. In this program, aligned with the American Psychology Association guidelines, you will work with professors and be directly involved with research, paraprofessional training and field experiences.
