Autumn in pictures

In autumn swallows fly away to warmer countries

Hedgehogs and other animals collect food in their storerooms

In winter the bats hibernate in warm caves sleeping upside down

Moles also prepare for the winter

Strong wind often blows and the kites can fly high in the sky

Some kites are pretty shaggy

Leaves are getting many colours and they are slowly falling down

We can‘t forget the birds that will stay here in the winter – we made bird

boxes for them

And we can make many creatures from fallen leaves

We pick up apples and pears – in some of them are little worms

and pumpkins are smiling and frowning

Spiders make their webs

In the forests we can find good and also poisonous mushrooms

At night we can meet forest gnomes and see the owl

Autumn is really colourful
