Why attending Automotive Dealer Day?

Because it is a unique opportunity to touch base and update your strategy in the automotive distribution business, crossing information and relationships. There is no other event of this kind and size in the whole of Europe.

I am a dealer…should I bring some of my staff to Automotive Dealer Day?

The event is organized in order to provide value to the whole staff. Being dense of contents (workshop, exhibition floor, meetings), by bringing some of the staff one can extract more benefits.

Are managers from automakers welcome to Automotive Dealer Day?

Absolutely. Every year many managers from automakers attend Dealer Day that, notwithstanding its name, it is a true “distribution day”, that is open to exchange among all players in the industry (dealers, automakers and other companies).

I have little time. How long should I spend at Automotive Dealer Day?

Ideally as much time as possible! The choice of “when” can be made depending on contents of specific workshops, however for most players it is “invested” time to obtain more value for their own business.

I have been to Automotive Dealer Day before. Should I attend this year as well?

Albeit the format of Dealer Day remains similar (but enriched), its contents change every year in terms of information, workshops, meetings and people to talk to, to increase the visibility at 360 degrees on the state of the art in the business.

What does the city of Verona offer to me and my partner?

Verona is a worldwide known city for its “Arena”, “Romeo and Juliet”, wine, the Garda lake, “Gardaland” and many other attractions. Verona is the perfect city where to pass a weekend after two working days.

Automotive Dealer Day is promoted by:

Quintegia srlViale Luzzatti, 88 - 31100 Treviso, ItalyE-mail: [email protected]: www.dealerday.itTel.: + 39 0422 262997Fax: + 39 0422 029903

Quintegia srl is a company based in Treviso carrying out research, networking, training and intelligence activities with specific focus on automotive distribution. The company integrates the experience and competences of the founders (Leonardo Buzzavo, Enrico Gallorini, Luca Montagner and Giuseppe Volpato) to a team of project managers and researchers, building also on a dense network of relationships and cooperations both in Italy and abroad. The projects and the initiatives developed by Quintegia (targeted to automakers, dealers and other supply chain players) are grouped into different business units: Automotive Dealer Day (www.dealerday.it), Automotive Dealer Academy (www.audea.it), DealerSTAT (www.dealerstat.it), Top50 Dealer (www.top50dealer.it), DealerLAB (www.dealerlab.it), research and special projects.

Automotive Dealer Day has been since 2003 the key annual event for all players directly or indirectly involved in the business of automotive distribution and servicing. It has been designed to provide contents and stimuli in terms of information, strategies, tools and relatioships. Over the two days a business area (over 7,000 sqm with the best companies operating in the industry, with networking areas and events) is integrated with a program of over 30 workshops along many parallel sessions on relevant topics.

Audea (Automotive Dealer Academy) is the training laboratory promoted by Quintegia for the players of the automotive industry focusing on the emerging needs and on the new forms of competence transfer. Among the main initiatives the Master in Dealer Management stands out (since 2004), the first high-specialization course in Italy dedicated to new generations in the dealership, promoted in cooperation with Ca’ Foscari Formazione e Ricerca, subsidiary of the Ca’ Foscari University of Venice. Audea also promoted tailored programs for automakers (e.g. Service Manager Academy) or dealer associations, involving a network of competences coming from both academics and professionals.

DealerSTAT is a laboratory for research and relationships focusing on the structure and performance of distribution networks with respect to automakers, with specific attention to policies and initiatives of constant improvement. Since 2004 the level of dealer satisfaction has been surveyed (over 1,000 dealers participaing) providing analytical reports to the majority of manufacturers operating in Italy. Also, a constant monitoring of the quantitative and qualitative structure of dealer networks is carried out, along with tailored projects on demand.

Moving from the set of competences and relationships built by Quintegia both nationally and abroad, DealerLAB features the creation and development of events aimed at redefining the profile of dealerships by innovating their relationships with customers, the community and the environment. Among the main initiatives there are Autosicuramente (a tour of events focusing on safety), Bimbisicuramente (a campaign related to child safety for the Fiat network), Italy@NADA (coordinated visit to the US dealer convention and related activities).

Top50 Dealer is an area of activity explicitly focused on large dealers in Italy and Europe. Besides a constant updating of a set of information and parameters on the 50 largest dealers operating in Italy, the Top50 Dealer Club has been created as a framework for information exchange and towards the development of relationships, with theme-based meetings. Also, other meetings on selected topics regarding large dealers are promoted, involving also other industry players (Top50 Dealer Forum).

Research and Special Projects

Quintegia also promotes a set of activities both in Italy and abroad on topics related to the distribution of cars and industrial vehicles aiming at providing information and tools to improve supply chain strategies. Among the most relevant cooperations there are the activities carried out within ICDP (International Car Distribution Programme), main research network on automotive distribution, since 1994. Also, special projects are developed on demand according to specific needs.
