If you are visit ing the Costa del Sol this Summer or in the near f uture and are looking f rom a break f romthe norm when it comes to daily activit ies, then why not head over to Malaga and visit the AutomobileMuseum?

The museum (Museo Automovilístico de Málaga) is located at the very impressive looking Edif icioTabacalera with a total space of over 6,000 square metres which houses over 100 cars coveringdif f erent periods.

The range of cars is f antastic and are arranged in areas f or the dif f erent periods such as the BelleOpaque period f rom the late nineteenth century to 1914, The 1920’s, Art Deco, Dream Cars, EnglishTradition and Dolce Vita.

There is also an alternative energy range of cars including the solar car, the hydrogen car and acompressed air car.

Every Friday during July and August at 12:30 pm, a number of vehicles will have their hoods opened andengines started so that you can experience the incredible sounds made by just a f ew of thesemagnif icent cars.

My f avourite? It has to be the Cadillac Eldorado 1959 with its tail f ins and chrome. Yum!

When Is The Museum Open?

The museum is open every day f rom 10am to 7pm but is closed on Mondays.

How Much Does It Cost?

Admission is just €6.50 with Students and Pensioners paying €4.50. Under 3 years are f ree.
