E-CATCH: ELECTRONIC LOGBOOK
FROM SUPPLY TO DISTRIBUTION
E-CATCH allows fishermen to digitally supply the required catch data to the responsible authorities.
Apart from the catch reporting, as imposed by the EU, Aucxis developed the software in such a way
that the concept offers possibilities for the further integration with selling systems and for an even
more advanced marketing of fishery products.
Apart from the standard buying, sales, stock management and production modules, also forecast,
planning, forward and backward cost calculation and invoicing modules are available in P-FISH. These
are supported by the required management tools, reports and traceability features.
Aucxis offers its industrial input stations to support the fish supply, production and distribution.
Mobile data loggers enable to register the fish temperature during the different stages in the transport
throughout the chain, from the vessel all the way up to the retailer. Proactive measures can be taken
thanks to the availability of GPS coordinates and alarms.
The implementation of RFID technology allows to efficiently and conveniently trace the fish throughout
the entire chain: each fish box is equipped with a unique serial number that can be read wirelessly via
various RFID reading solutions.
Furthermore, the application of RFID on fish boxes simplifies the box pool management, because of the
availability of a real time overview of who has taken which boxes.
