Module 2: operation types
Siemens Schrader (GB)
Each valve has:
An antennafor reception
+ An antenna for emission
Training
•
- Schrader (GB) (125 KHz / 315 MHz FM (FSK))- Siemens, Beru ( Allemagne) (125 KHz / 315 ou 433 MHz)- TRW ( USA) (125 KHz / 315 Mhz (ASK))- SMART TYRE (125 KHz / 433 MHz (ASK))- Toyota (Lexus) (125 KHz /315 MHz)- Pacific valve (Asie) - Johnson control (SAGEM)- etc………
Details on the valves available on the market:
After being awaked, the valve transmits its identifier and the pressure of the wheel. Each valve is programmable and can be sent to sleep again.
Example of information: Remaining lifespan of the battery, date of production of the valve, moisture, acceleration, Temperature....
Note: in general, to function the valve must be under pressure (> 500 mbar)

• Each valve has its own identifying code=> the driver knows which wheel is concerned
with a possible problem of under-inflation.
• This identifying code is also used to avoid an interference between 2 vehicles stationed one beside the other.
• Installed on the line of production, the station will transmit each code-identifier to the calculator of the vehicle, by the intermediary of the network machines.
Without that, the dashboard of the vehicle would indicate a "error", because no valve would be recognized by the calculator of the vehicle.
Training
• Frequency of activation: 125 KHz.
Range: adjustable of 20 cm at 60 cm maximum.
Cycle time : generaly 60 sec. *
Emission field: approximatively +/- 20 A/m (contact).
Reception AM/FM: 433 and/or 315 MHz (only one installation = bi-frequency)
Tape speed of the line of assembly: until 5m/min*
STATION TPMS:Technical data antenna / network
* depends on type of valve and line of assembly
