Automated Case Management System - Public Access Guide

OVERVIEW: The Automated Case Management System (ACMS) is a case management and docketing system utilized by the civil courts within the state of New Jersey. The ACMS Public Access application allows inquiry-only access to docket information for civil actions filed in Law Division Civil Part and Special Civil Part, Chancery and General Equity courts.

Enter the number that appears under the SYSTEM column that corresponds with CIVIL(ACMS) under column labeled REMARKS / DESCRIPTION, Press ENTER. You can also press the corresponding PF key for that number.

The attorney’s firm name, address, phone number and the designated counsel appears in the “ATTENTION” section of the screen.

Press PAUSE/BREAK or SELECT PA1 until you return to the ACMS INQUIRY. Press PF5 CASE PROCEEDING LIST: Any scheduled hearings will be displayed on this screen. A message will be displayed on the bottom of the screen if there are no scheduled proceedings.
