The ability to see what a project will look like beore it is built

only the beginning. Digital models can also depict how a projwill behave in the real world.

In the past, design problems were discovered only ater the design was built,resulting in costly redesign and manuacture. The ability to see what theproject will actually do beore it is created helps customers to identiy andcorrect potential deects early in the design process.

For example, a designer can analyze design concepts such as basic orm andbuilding orientation to determine the optimal location o a building basedon environmental actors such as daylight, overshadowing, solar access, andvisual impact.
