• Create a circle• Give it the Proper

Dimensions• Remove half of the

circle• Revolve the semi-

circle about axis

Open a New File

• Double-click Autodesk Inventor

• Select Standard.ipt to create a new part

Creating the Circle• Select Center Point

Circle • Select the origin as

the center point• Click a point on the

grid to define the radius of the circle

Adding Dimensions• Select dimension

from the 2D sketch panel

• Click on the circle and then click inside circle to place dimension

• Edit dimension by double clicking

Creating a Semi-circle• Select the line

command.• Draw a diameter on

the circle.• Use the trim

command to remove half of the circle.

Revolving the Circle• Select revolve from

the Part Features toolbar

• Select axis in dialog box

• Click on the diameter of the circle
