long$and$sa:sfying$career$in$it$and,$even$today,$it$con:nues$to$be$

a$vital$part$of$our$country’s$growth.$I’ve$traveled$the$whole$

Philippines$and$I’ve$seen$the$many$changes$that$have$come$from$

bringing$roads,$vital$infrastructure,$and$transporta:on$to$ci:es$

and$growing$towns.$I$envision$Autocirculo$to$be$part$of$this$

con:nuing$growth.$More$than$that,$I$see$how$Autocirculo$can$

serve$the$needs$of$Filipinos.$Owning$a$car$is$a$milestone$for$any$

Autocirculo$Corpora:on$is$the$fastest$growing$dealer$of$

Columbian$Autocar$Corpora:on$(CAC),$the$assembler$and$

exclusive$distributor$of$KIA$vehicles$in$the$Philippines.$It$is$also$a$

dealer$of$Eurobrands$Distributor,$Inc.,$the$exclusive$distributor$of$

Peugeot$vehicles$in$the$Philippines.$$

In$only$two$years,$this$company$managed$to$have$its$KIA$Las$Piñas$$

branch$be$the$number$one$dealer$in$Metro$Manila$and$the$

number$two$dealer$na:onwide.$Within$three$years,$Autocirculo$

grew$from$one$branch$to$eight$(8)$KIA$dealerships$and$three$(3)$

Peugeot$dealerships.$Currently,$Autocirculo$is$also$responsible$for$

implemen:ng$CAC’s$oneOprice$policy$across$nine$(9)$affiliated$

dealerships.$The$company$plans$to$expand$and$have$most$of$its$

branches$provide$customers$with$aRer$sales$service.$$

(CAC)$direc:on$of$reaching$more$customers$

na:onwide,$Autocirculo$Corpora:on$was$

formed$to$officially$operate$KIA$Motors$Las$

Piñas,$a$fullOfledged$dealership$that$sells$and$

services$KIA$vehicles.$$

Autocirculo$Corpora:on$started$as$a$

partnership$between$Felix$J.$Mabilog,$Jr.$and$

Augusto$Ch.$Camacho$in$2010.$$It$all$began$

with$a$dealership$strategically$located$at$Lot$

2A,$AlabangOZapote$Road,$Las$Piñas$City.$

Although$it$operated$as$a$KIA$dealership,$it$

also$serviced$all$brands$of$vehicles.$Its$

loca:on$catered$to$residents,$commercial$

establishments$and$companies$that$were$

situated$in$Alabang,$Las$Piñas$and$the$Cavite$

area.$With$years$of$experience,$wellOtrained$

technicians,$modern$service$equipment$and$

an$adequate$working$area$of$over$2,200$

square$meters,$KIA$Las$Piñas$was$designed$to$

support$a$warm$and$friendly$environment$for$

its$clients,$living$out$the$KIA$brand's$service$

moCo$of$"familyOlike$care.”$The$dealership$

provided$a$venue$to$showcase$the$latest$

models$of$KIA.$

In$addi:on$to$this,$the$dealership$wanted$to$

project$itself$as$a$oneOstopOshop$for$all$

automo:ve$aRerOsales$(parts$and$service)$

needs$regardless$of$brand.$

Between$2012$and$2013,$Autocirculo$

Corpora:on$was$given$the$opportunity$to$

expand$its$opera:ons$by$CAC$to$cover$seven$

more$KIA$dealer$branches,$namely,$

Quirino$(O:s,$Manila),$Esguerra$(Quezon$City),$$

Greenhills$(San$Juan$City),$Marcos$Highway$

(Rizal),$Aurora$Boulevard$(Pasay$City),$Amang$

Rodriguez$(Pasig$City),$and$Santa$Rosa$(Laguna).$

The$Amang$Rodriguez$branch$was$made$possible$

through$a$management$contract$in$a$joint$

venture$with$Guevent$Investments$Development$

Corpora:on,$mul:ObillionOpeso$company$with$

investments$in$transporta:on$solu:ons$and$real$

estate,$among$others.$$

As$part$of$Autocirculo’s$expansion,$the$company$

recently$acquired$four$addi:onal$car$carriers$to$

fulfill$all$its$sales$and$service$requirements.$

Autocirculo$plans$to$use$its$winning$formula$of$

people$development,$opera:onal$efficiency$and$

excellent$customer$service$in$all$its$branches.$$

By$the$fourth$quarter$of$2012,$Autocirculo$also$

grew$its$porgolio$by$adding$the$pres:gious$

Peugeot$brand$to$its$lineOup$of$vehicles.$$

In$the$laCer$part$of$2013,$CAC$implemented$a$

oneOprice$policy$across$all$its$dealerships,$making$

Autocirculo$responsible$for$execu:on.$As$a$result,$

nine$(9)$addi:onal$independent$dealerships$were$

affiliated$with$Autocirculo.$$

This$2014,$Autocirculo$opened$two$branches$for$

both$KIA$and$Peugeot$in$strategic$loca:ons:$

GreenhillsOEDSA$and$Alabang,$bringing$the$total$

number$of$KIA$branches$up$to$nine$(9)$and$

Peugeot$branches$up$to$three$(3).$$

THE PEUGEOT BRAND

Peugeot$capitalizes$on$its$exper:se$with$diesel$

engines.$The$French$brand,$which$has$been$around$

for$200$years,$was$the$first$to$exclusively$patent$and$

introduce$to$the$market$a$diesel$par:culate$filter$

(DPF)$which$eliminates$harmful$par:culates$from$a$

car’s$emissions.$The$diesel$power$plants$come$with$

an$auto$startOstop$system$which$shuts$down$the$

engine$when$the$car$is$idling,$then$instantly$starts$it$

up$again$once$the$driver$taps$on$the$accelerator$or$

flicks$the$gear$lever.$This$kind$of$system$cuts$fuel$

Autocirculo$Corpora:on$is$a$family$business$led$by$Augusto""Butch""Chaves"Camacho,$a$veteran$of$the$automo:ve$industry.$Mr.$Camacho$established$his$career$in$marke:ng$and$sales,$having$

been$the$Vice$President$of$the$Nissan$Diesel$division$of$Columbian$Motors$Corpora:on$(CMC).$

He$started$in$1973$when$the$company$was$s:ll$under$the$Aboi:z$Group$of$Cebu$un:l$it$was$sold$

to$Jose$Ch.$Alvarez$in$1980.$He$grew$the$company's$market$share$and$dominated$the$brand$new$

commercial$bus$market$in$the$Philippines$during$his$s:nt$in$CMC.$His$long$term$planning$and$

strategic$thinking$fuel$Autocirculo's$con:nuing$growth.$$

Edouard"Chris7an""EZ""Camacho"is$the$Vice$President$and$$General$Manager$of$all$the$KIA$

dealerships.$Despite$being$the$youngest$General$Manager$in$the$Autocirculo$group,$EZ$managed$

to$get$the$Las$Piñas$$branch$to$be$the$number$one$dealership$in$Metro$Manila$and$the$number$

two$$KIA$dealership$in$the$country.$He$takes$to$heart$KIA's$"familyOlike$care"$and$treats$his$major$

stakeholders,$employees$and$customers,$as$family.$He$was$awarded$General$Sales$Manager$of$

Year$(2012)$by$CAC.$

Augusto""Gus""Camacho,"Jr."is$the$Vice$President$and$General$Manager$of$all$the$Peugeot$

dealerships.$ARer$a$career$as$a$private$banker$and$restaurateur$in$San$Francisco,$California,$Gus$

returned$to$the$Philippines$to$head$up$the$Peugeot$dealership$of$Autocirculo.$He$is$bullish$about$

the$growth$of$the$Peugeot$brand$in$the$Philippines$and$is$a$living$embodiment$of$the$brand's$tag$

line$of$"Mo:on$&$Emo:on,"$being$very$ac:onOoriented$and$passionate$about$what$he$does.$He$has$

managed$to$make$Autocirculo$the$number$one$dealer$of$Peugeot$in$2013.$$

The People Behind Autocirculo

Jus7ne"Camacho"Tajonera"is$the$Corporate$Secretary$of$Autocirculo$Corpora:on.$$She$has$had$thirteen$years$of$experience$in$Communica:ons$and$Marke:ng$from$the$telecommunica:ons$

industry$and$is$currently$in$digital$publishing$and$distribu:on$while$concurrently$holding$her$post$

at$Autocirculo.$She$manages$the$social$media$accounts$of$the$company$and$takes$care$of$

corporate$communica:ons.$$

Ma."Mercedes"“Des”"Camacho"Peterson"is$the$Treasurer$of$Autocirculo$Corpora:on.$She$has$a$background$in$Business$Process$Outsourcing$(BPO),$having$been$one$of$the$pioneers$in$this$

industry$during$her$days$in$eTelecare$(now$Stream$Global$Services).$Des$got$professional$training$

as$a$pastry$chef$from$Tante$Marie’s$Cooking$School$in$San$Francisco.$While$concurrently$the$

Treasurer$of$the$company,$Des$shows$her$versa:lity$and$acumen$by$also$running$a$home$baking$

business.$

Michael"“Mike”"T."Mabilog"is$the$Vice$President$for$ARer$Sales$of$Autocirculo$Corpora:on$as$well$as$the$General$Manager$of$both$KIA$Quirino$and$KIA$Pasay.$Son$of$former$Columbian$Autocar$

Corpora:on$(KIA)$President$and$current$Eurobrands$Distributor$(Peugeot)$President,$Felix$J.$
