DETAILED INTINERARY

Day 1: Hanoi Arrival (L)

Morning city tour to visit Ho Chi Minh’s Stilt House and Mausoleum, the President Place, One Pillar

Pagoda, the thousand year-old Tran Quoc Pagoda and Temple of Literature – the first university of

Vietnam.

Lunch at a local restaurant.

Extensive Cyclo tour around Hoan Kiem Lake and through the lively streets and alleys of the Old Quarter

in the afternoon.

Night in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi – Phoenix Golf Resort – Mai Chau (B, D)

Breakfast, Dinner included

Depart for Phoenix Golf in Hoa Binh Province (1.30

hours by car). Enjoy a full round of 18 holes in one of

the finest golf courses in the country with some of the

most scenic views anywhere in the world.

Phoenix Golf Resort is the biggest golf resort in North Vietnam with 54 holes spread over three

memorable courses that include stunning elevation changes and truly diverse hole layouts. Be sure to

bring your A game as well as your best camera!

Transfer to Mai Chau in the late afternoon. Enjoy dinner with local food and sit back to watch a

traditional dance performance on a stilt house.

Day 3: Mai Chau - Hanoi (B, L)

Escape the bustle and hustle of the city, spend the morning exploring Lac Village – home to the local

White Thai people for 700 years. Ideally nested amongst the stunning mountain ranges of Mai Chau, the

village is a green valley of paddy fields dotted with rows of stilt houses.

Take your bike and explore the beautiful village.

Lunch at a local restaurant.

Return to Hanoi in the afternoon.

Day 4: Hanoi – Halong Bay (B, L, D)

After breakfast, embark on a journey to Ha Long Bay- a UNESCO World Heritage Site (4 hour by car).

Along the way, beautiful panoramic views of the rural village and paddy fileds of the Red River Delta.

Midday arrival in Ha Long city and board a junk cruise. Seafood lunch on the bay.

Spend the afternoon cruising around Halong Bay’s thousands of limestione islets and caves. Visit a

natural grotto with spectacular formations en-route.

Day 5: Halong – FLC Halong Bay Golf Resort (Br)

Brunch included.

Wake up early to watch amazing sunrise over the bay in the morning. Continue cruising before returning

to Hanoi. Disembark the cruise around 11 am, transfer to FLC Halong Golf.

With four holes directly facing Ha Long Bay and others ridging a steep valley, FLC Ha Long Bay Golf

Course provides something golfers dream about but rarely find: views to die for, playability without

being severely penal, a year-round playing climate – all in a bucket-list destination with an abundance of

non-golf activities. The course is some 6800 yards from the “tips” and 6200-6300 yards from the white

tees – relatively short by modern standards. There are five par-3 holes, three of which offer 180-degree

vistas over Ha Long Bay, with two (the eighth and 12th) likely to be compared to the iconic 7th hole at

Pebble Beach, California

Day 6: Halong – Hanoi – Fly to Da Nang – Hoi An (B)

After breakfast, transfer to Noi Bai International Airport for a short flight to Da Nang (1 hour). Upon

arrival, our driver will pick you up for a drive to Hoi An (30 minutes).

Night in Hoi An.

Day 7: Hoi An – BRG Da Nang Golf Club – Hoi An (B)

Da Nang, a magnificent links-style layout designed

The breathtaking 7,176-yard, par-72 course

weaves its way through a rugged dunes cape 15

minutes south of Da Nang. Its signature hole is the

par-3 16th, which backs up against Ha My Beach and offers spectacular views of the East Sea and Cham

Islands. The rolling fairways make for some spectacular tee shots while fast (12-13 stimp) greens are

PGA-Tour grade. Make sure you roll your putts in smoothly!

Enjoy a full round of 18 holes at this beautiful golf course, then return for your resort in the afternoon.

Day 8: Hoi An (B, L)

Explore the UNESCO town of Hoi An by foot with your guide, visiting Chua Ong Pagoda, Chinese

Assembly Halls, Tan Ky ancestral house, and the Japanese Bridge.

Lunch at a local restaurant.

Free afternoon to relax and explore at your own leisure. You might like to enjoy the beach or take a walk

to the riverside near your hotel to explore the local shops. Grab a “Banh Mi”, world-famous local

baguette at the local eatery.

Night in Hoi An.

Day 9: Hoi An – Montgomerie Links Golf Course – Hoi An (B)

After breakfast at your hotel, transfer to Montgomerie Links Golf Club for a full round of 18 holes.

Created by golfing legend Colin Montgomerie, Montgomerie Links Golf Course is truly an international 5-

star championship links style course that tees up challenging and enjoyable play for all levels of golfers

from around the world. The traditional links style design features sandy solid, wind- blown dunes,

existing native vegetation, strategically placed bunkers, generous and undulating greens and closely

mown chipping areas. The course also hosts more water holes than most links courses, including lakes

and streams that add further aesthetic appeal. Remember to polish your bunker play beforehand!

Return to your resort in the afternoon.

Night in Hoi An.

Day 10: Hoi An - Hue – City Tour (B, L)

After breakfast, drive from Hoi An to Hue. Travel over the Hai Van Pass, which on a clear day has

spectacular views out to the East Sea and the Lang Co peninsula.

Arrival in Hue and exploring the Imperial City, known as the Citadel, with your guide- which was actually

a walled fortress and palace belonged to the ancient city of Hue which was a capital city of the Nguyen

Dynasty for 140 years back from 1805 until 1945.

Visiting the Thien Mu Pagoda, one of the main institution for Buddhism in Vietnam. Then visit a local

market.

Day 11 : Hue – Laguna Lang Co Golf Resort – Hue (B)

After breakfast, transfer from Hoi An to Laguna

Lang Co Golf Resort via Da Nang (1. 30 hours by

car). Travel over the Hai Van Pass, which on a clear

day has spectacular views out to the East Sea and

the Lang Co peninsula. Enjoy a full round of 18

holes at Laguna Lang Co Golf Club with ocean views

and an amphitheatre – like mountainous backdrop and a calming sea breeze wafts acrros the course.

Laguna Lang Co Golf Club, an 18-hole, par-71 championship course designed by Sir Nick Faldo. The Lang

Co Golf Club delivers a golfing experience that can be enjoyed by the most experienced players and

beginners alike. The course presents variety for players of all levels measuring just over 7,000 yards from

the championship tees and a beginner friendly 5,263 yards from the front tees. The course weaves

between trees, natural streams, over rice paddies and through impressive rock features to create a

memorable and diverse and unique golf experience.

Return to Hue in the late afternoon.

Day 12: Hue – Fly to Ho Chi Minh City – Cu Chi (B, L)

A short flight (1.5 hours) takes you to vibrant Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon). Drive 1.5 hours to explore the

underground tunnels in Cu Chi. The intricate underground network of tunnels and chambers were first

dug in 1948 to assist the Viet Minh against Colonial France and were continually expanded in the

following 25 years. At its peak the de-facto underground city housed up to 10,000 people with living

areas, kitchens, storage, weapons factories, field hospitals and command centers.

During the American War the entire area of Cu Chi was designated a free fire zone and was heavily

bombarded. From 1988, two sections of tunnels have been open for visitors. Now you have a chance to

crawl through the tunnels yourself!

Day 14: Ho Chi Minh City – My Tho – Ho Chi Minh City (B, L)

Departure for My Tho in the Mekong Delta which has

extensive network of thousands of water channels extending

over 40,000 km2. The landscape is beautiful with its yellow rice

fields and green orchards. The main mean of transportation is

by boat. Boarding a traditional boat for a trip down the

Mekong River, experience the memorable floating

markets, and explore the canals and their lush green

vegetation. Don’t miss the orchards where you can listen

to the traditional tunes of the South while tasting a

diverse selection of tropical fruits. Filled with vitamins and fiber, discover the local way of producing

coconut candy and rehydrate yourself with a cup of honey tea at a beekeeping house.

Lunch in a local restaurant.

Row a boat out of the canals and back to the car.

Return to Ho Chi Minh City.

DAY 14: HO CHI MINH CITY – FLY HOME (B)

Afternoon tour to explore the biggest city of Vietnam in the afternoon. Take a walk to visit Reunification

Place (former Presidential Place), Dong Khoi Street, Opera House, City Hall or Cathedral. Send your

postcards from the pretty French colonial-style post office built by Gustave Eiffel in 1891 and visit the

Ben Thanh market, an 11,000 m covered market, which offers the visitor an assortment of local

produce.

Transfer to Tan Son Nhat International Airport for your return flight.
