organized 17 COs (about 59 %

WCOs) with 473 members rep-

resenting over three thousand

schemes) and also explained the technical aspects

of the schemes to the Australian Delegation, He

also briefed them about the TOP (Terms of Part-

nership) which is signed between the community

and SRSP before the work initiates.

The Delegation meets with Entrepreneurs during their visit around the village. Men and women were

given technical and financial support to set-up small enterprises under the Livelihood Strengthening

Programme.

In Village Azizabad 20 community members have been trained in various NRM activities (10 women com-

munity members)

The Delegation receives Presentation from Women

Community Organizations on ‘Women Development

through the Community Investment Funds’.

In Village Azizabad LSP so far under IGG

PKR 60,000 has been disbursed among 15

women and PKR 500,000 has been loaned to

41 women community members. Through

Internal Lending PKR 921,000 has been dis-

bursed to 74 females. Community Invest-

ment Fund are used by Women for estab-

lishing small businesses like Karyana shop,

Purchase of assets (goats, hens,) embroidery

& stitching of clothes, cosmetics & shoes

shop etc

gave a briefing on

SRSP’s vision, mission

and working approach

and achievements of

Livelihood Strengthen-

ing Programme .

Assistant Commissioner, Charsadda and the

local MPA also attended the meeting. They

appreciated the role of SRSP in strengthening

State-Citizen relationship.
