the world to visit Australia. The following web forum provides relevant

Australia has a very strong tourism market and it contributes a significant amount each year to Australia’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP). According
to www.tra.gov.au, the total visitor spend for the 2013-2014 financial year was $101.6 billion! This is an increase from the previous year of 4%.
In the same year, over 6.1 million international travellers visited Australia. Overall, Australia’s tourism industry contributes $42.3 billion to the GDP and there are over 543,600 people employed directly in tourism based
jobs. This is an significant amount and contributes to the overall increase of the Australian economy for the last 23years.
Peak Travel times As Australia is very well known for its famous sandy beaches, it’s not surprising that the peak travel times are associated with the warmer seasons of Spring and Summer. The peak period of time which has the most expensive flights, is from 9th December – 31st January. From the 1st February – 30th April and 9th
