Day 4 Sydney Sydney Opera House Tour

When the Sydney Opera House became a UNESCO World Heritage-listed site in 2007, it was hailed as one of the indisputable masterpieces of human creativity, not only in the 20th century but in the history of humankind. Now its your turn to step inside this iconic landmark and discover the stories behind Danish architect Jorn Utzons remarkable achievement. Journey through the foyers and hallowed theatres, where more than 1800 concerts, operas, dramas and ballets take place each year. Youll run your hands over the world-famous shell tiles, take a seat in the elegant custom-made Tasmanian Oak chairs and marvel at the vaulted ceilings of one of the biggest pillar-free chambers in the world.




Day 5 Sydney

Hunter Valley Wine Tour

TOUR ITINERARY Your informative and knowledgeable guide will collect you from your Sydney hotel. Departing from the city, we travel north over the Sydney Harbour Bridge via the Gore Hill Freeway to join the Pacific Highway and then the F3 freeway. Our first stop is at the Australia Reptile Park, where in a delightful setting surrounded by kangaroos, wallabies and pademelons, we enjoy morning tea/coffee and time to visit with the native Australian Animals. Departing from the Park, we travel directly via the freeway to the Hunter Valley, which is nestled in the lee of the Great Dividing Range. 180 years young, this is Australia’s oldest and best known wine region and is soaked in history. Its a dynamic and fascinating area that brims with over 150 top class wineries, 65 indulgent restaurants as well as gourmet produce and boutique breweries. Our first visit is to Briar Ridge Vineyard a 5 star winery nestled in the Mount View region of the Hunter Valley, a well renowned viticulture area. Sample exquisite wines in your own private area. From here we continue onto Leogate Estate. This opulent cellar door is the perfect place to enjoy that unique taste which only the Hunter Valley and their award winning wines can provide. All wines produced from the great vines of one of the most highly regarded vineyards in Australia. Here we will enjoy a selection of cheeses to accompany the wine tasting, followed by a tour of the onsite winery to learn of the wine making process. On conclusion of the tour, we enjoy a relaxing 2 course lunch (selection of platters, followed by dessert of choice) accompanied by a glass of wine. Further beverages can be purchased at own expense. After lunch, we enjoy a stop at the Hunter Village where here you have the options of visiting the Chocolate Shop for sampling and perhaps a decadent purchase or two!... explore the boutique shops or enjoy a final




wine tasting at the local Cellar Door. From here we commence our return to Sydney to arrive back at your hotels approximately 5 5.30pm. OR

MCG Behind the Scenes Tour

As the super stage of Australian sport, the Melbourne Cricket Ground is a fully accredited sports heritage complex and tourism destination. Traditionally the MCG has provided the live drama to thrill millions worldwide, memorable events such as the Olympic Games, Test cricket and Australian football's incomparable Grand Final on the last Saturday in September.




Backstage, the MCG Tour gives the visitor the opportunity to relive their great sporting memories through a comprehensive tour with a guide of this marvellous stadium, where so many champions of yesterday and today have performed.
