Ausfunk  –  Where  it  began

•  Ausfunk was founded by Hayley Green in 1999 and quickly built a 6

days/week non competitive dance studio in Nambour. The company

originally stayed away from high pressure traditional competitions,

focusing on community events for kids to build performance work in

funk style dance. The non competitive recreational classes still support

this system within the company. Ausfunk added in competitive dance

and cheerleading after witnessing amazing positive competition at

Australian Allstar Cheer and Dance Federation events. Building athletes

and Dancers in an empowering and supportive environment has changed

the structure of Ausfunk to bridge between their hard work and getting

recognized and achieving goals.

•  In the past 15years the company has changed structure, but has

always maintained the policy of providing a safe, nurturing environment

to build self confidence and friendships not only in class but to bring

strength, and healthy goals into every day life. “ We are mentors and

leaders and need to be accountable for each young body and mind

growing up. It takes a village to raise a child. Use your time to the

fullest.”

Cheerleading

Our cheer program is based on the USASF Rubic, Jumps, Tumbles, Stunts, Dance.

Routines are level based. We are currently running squads Level 1-4.2 and Group and

partner stunts Level 2-5.Ausfunk Cheerleading focuses on building strength and

conditioning and developing accurate cheer techniques. We will not push athletes beyond

their skill and pride ourselves in developing grass root techniques and accurate skills before

any progression. Cheerleading teaches skills in team, work accountability, and

dependability. It creates athletes who strive to better themselves and to work hard for their

team. Ausfunk Cheerleading also run a NON competitive squad CHEER DYNAMICS.

Group/Partner Stunt Routine

2 persons in partner stunt section & 3 - 5 persons in group stunt section Strictly only

practice stunts & tumbling under the guidance of experienced & qualified coaches.

Performed to high- energy music, your aim is to safely execute as many stunts as possible in
