Today’s Focus

What is Title IKingsbury Middle School is a Title I School. Which

means we receive federal funds to ensure that our school is ran appropriately. Title I is a part of the No child left Behind Act, which requires that schools provide high quality instruction in a positive and supportive learning environment.Title I Provides funds to supplement or support the regular academic program. • After school tutoring • Formative Assessments • Resources to track academic data

*All parents should have received a packet that includes KMS’s Title I Notification-Parents Right to Know- Migrant Education Program Occupational Survey , and Family Engagement Plan

AMO is defined as a school’s expected level of growth, which is assigned by the Department of Education, for a each school year.

We are happy to share that we are considered a level 5 school, because we achieved the expected level of growth.

*We would like for all KMS students and parents to know that we are COMMITTED to ensuring that students are provided with the necessary support to CONTINUOUSLY make ACADEMIC GAINS.
