This coming Tuesday, Sept. 3, you all have a chance to participate in a first time event. The event is the Holy Rosary Parent Organization meeting scheduled for 7:00pm (dinner at 6:30pm) in the Family Room. The HRPO is open to any parent of a Holy Rosary school student. I encourage you all to participate in the meeting. They try to make it easy to attend in that they provide dinner for you, have care for your children, and feed the children as well. It should be a very informative meeting as they will explain how the organization works and what you can do to be involved. Please come out and join us for a great evening. We look forward to seeing you there. Our weekly roof update finds us closer to completion. The electrical workers completed their work at the end of last week. This week we have seen the duct work going up to the roof to connect the air units to the classrooms. They should be completed very soon. Also this week, the painters have begun their work, which will include sealing up the sky lights that were removed, and painting the ceilings. That leave us with the cleanup which will begin as they finish painting each area. I think we are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel on this project. We are heading into the fall sports seasons. Most of the sports have held their first games/matches of the season. All of the games are listed on the sports calendar which is located on the Athletic page of the school website, holyrosarymemphis.org. Check out the calendar and try to come out and cheer on all of our Ram athletes. They have worked very hard to get prepared for the season and we know they will represent us well whether in victory or defeat. Coming soon we will have information about our Spirit Week which will be held in September. Be on the lookout for that information.

Our Holy Rosary Golf Team got off to a good start!

The HRS golf team played their first match against St. Louis and got the win by 1 stroke! Congratulations to the 2nd place medalist Grace Denegri and to Jackson Noah and Ellie Grace Stevens who tied for third. So proud of the entire team for toughing it out in the heavy rain during the match. Way to play tough Rams!!!

Wednesday News Medicine Reminder

We cannot give any medicine to a child without a doctors note.

This does include cough drops.

This belongs to: ??? Please label everything! Not just school supplies and clothing. Also label all sports equipment, lunchboxes, toys and anything you want returned. We love to give things back but we can’t if we don’t know who it belongs to. (Check out the Mables Labels flyer. Those things really stick and help us out a lot.)
