Classifi ed advertising is a form of advertising which is particularly common in newspapers, online and other periodicals which may be sold. Classifi eds in a newspaper are typically short, as they are charged for by the word and one newspaper column wide.
Box advertising is pretty much what it sounds like: a box in which the information is placed. Box ads can be bought by the “Column Inch” (e.g. 2x2, 3x3, 4x4, 5x5, 6x14, etc.).

Stratford School District
administration will again ex-
plore the possibility of start-
ing up a bullying mentoring
program for students.Superintendent Scott Winch
said during Monday’s regular
school board meeting that he wanted to let residents know the district last revised its bul-lying policy in August of 2014. He was re-sponding to the public partici-pation at the July meeting, when three parents, Tina Rauch, Mi-
chelle Guldan and Kitty Guyer,
told the board they were start-
ing an anti-bullying group. Winch further said the dis-
trict is constantly looking
at its bullying policy to see
if changes should be made.
Board member Chris Dick-

school district look at the pol-

on Thursday voted to direct adminis-
trator Andy Kurtz to continue work on

space for other retail shops.

the entire block, Kurtz said. There are
currently vacant business buildings
located north of George’s Marathon
Foods owned by Jeff Schira and Lyle
Wood.Kurtz said the unnamed development
company believes, after doing a market
analysis, that Marathon City can sup-
port a new grocery store. The administrator said the village
The Edgar Village Board on
Monday voted 6-1 not to join
Marathon City and the Vil-lage of Athens to create a mu-nicipal court, likely killing the idea.
The board voted down the municipal court without debate. Village president Al-
