    PROGRAM

    Our speakers this month are Paul and Patricia Phelpsowner of Phelps Farm Orchids in Tampa. They started

    business in 1986 and it has grown out of Patricias love of orchid collecting into a thriving commercial business. have 7000 feet of green houses and are adding another 1600 feet. Cattleyas are their specialty but they grow mdifferent genera. They started a breeding program in the 80s with the main focus on cattleyas and have made 800 hybrids. Their program will be "Growing Orchids from Seed". Paul will have plants for sale and Im surewill want to take a few home, he will also supply plants for the raffle table.

    FOOD COLLECTION

    The Humane Society and the Mission were very thankful for the food donated by the membership. The spdrawing for those that donated food was won by Debbie Wingard, she went home with a beautiful blooming congratulations.

    PIN PLANT

    The pin plant drawing was won by JoAnn Dean. If you are a new member and dont have a society pin they capurchased at the welcome table from Bettie, All member names are put in a special plant drawing and if your nis drawn and you are wearing the society pin you win the plant.

    SHOW & TELL PLANTThe show and tell plant was won by Darlene Ross. For each blooming plant that you bring in for the show &table, you will receive a ticket for a special plant drawing. Be sure to check in with Pete and get your tickets.

    GUEST REGISTER
