Pew & Flooring Project Update

Dear parishioners, on behalf of Father Paul and my two Project Partners (Raymond Templet & Stephen Schexnayder) I am writing just to give

you an update.

The Church is empty, the tile has been removed, all the carpet has been removed. Good news – No termite or rot damage.

The wooden loors have received the initial sanding, de-signed to remove the old inish.

The loors are turning out a “blond” color. It is gorgeous. We have decided to go with a natural stain and a natural inish.

Two carpenters are replacing the cracked and damaged boards (that was there before) and the other crews are now doing the intermediate and inish sanding.

After wood loors are inished, new carpet (on the sanc-tuary and choir section) will go in.

At this time we feel like we are on schedule and just to be sure that we remain on schedule, our crews are working all day on Saturday’s as well.

Baring something catastrophic (tornado, hurricane, ire, major power outage, etc.) we are on schedule to receive pews on September 11. ‐Doug Schexnayder
