Copy the EDID from the display to an input on the DIGI-HD-8X8
1. Set the DIP switches to Single Twisted Pair Copy Mode.2. Connect the display to an output on the DIGI-HD-8X8 via an HDMI cable.3. On the front panel of the DIGI-HD-8X8, go into the Utilities Menu.4. Select Define Inputs.5. Press the button of the input you want to have routed to your display.6. Press the Copy EDID button.7. Press the button of the output which you are copying from.8. Copy Success should appear at the top of the front panel of the DIGI-HD-8X8.9. Continue the process for other inputs which are not showing video to the display.44

720p720pWe have a BluRay at 1080P connected to (2) 1080p TVs and a Satellite box at 720p connected to a 720p TV. Lets say the older 720p display wants to watch the BluRay.When the DIGI-HD-8x8 connects the 720p display to the BluRay, it looks at the display requirements and determines the lowest common signal and requests the satellite to send it to the matrix . In this case it is 720p. 45

During the connection process the HDMI signal would be interrupted for 1 or 2 seconds while the Satellite adjusts its output.When the 720p TV leaves the BluRay, it will re-adjust its output to 1080p if the 1080p TV is still connected.All the time this is going on the 720p path is totally unaffected because it is totally discrete.
