Activity• Make a decision as a station

• On a separate piece of paper, pick one and give three reasons that you would pick that mic for use outdoors.

CONDENSER MIC AND DRESSING
• Condenser Mic• Where do we see this most often?• How do we dress these appropriately?
PICKUP PATTERNS ANDSOUND PERSPECTIVE
• Omnidirectional• Picks up audio all around the mic
• Directional• Picks up audio in a specific pattern
• Sound Perspective• Making the audio sound like it is coming from where it’s supposed to come
from.• i.e.: Surround Sound

• What does it mean to “impede” someone or something?• To block, interfere, or stop• Think about a race…
