AUDIENCE RESEARCH – QUESTIONNAIRE RESULTS

Page 2: Audience research – questionnaire (results)

I thought that the best way to find out what the audience of the magazine wants is to create a short questionnaire for people to fill out. I asked basic questions that most/all people would be willing to answer. I got some silly answers out of this from people who did not take it seriously, but I will just leave those answers out as they are not relevant. The questions found out things I would need to know to assist me in the production of my magazine design.

ARE YOU MALE OR FEMALE?

Male

Female

0 5 10 15 20 25 30 35 40 45

Through this graph, it shows 40 of the 54 people that answered my questionnaire were female. I was aiming for this as I am female also and the magazines I am basing my work on are more feminine than masculine.

Under 16

16 - 19

0 5 10 15 20 25 30

The most popular age range is clearly 16 – 19. This was one of the two main age ranges I was looking for, and will now base the design of my magazine around this information.
