Q1

From this I can tell the audience will be primarily female and I therefore will need to change it so the colours and the layout of the magazine have feminine connotations. The colours I will use are pink, light blue, black and white as I want to keep to the punk/rock conventions as well.

However, as this is a magazine based on both genres liking the chosen genre, I will make my magazine look more gender neutral.

Q3

This information has told me that most people who were questioned listen to either rock music or punk, pop/punk and therefore

this shows me that my chosen genre is perfect for my target

niche market. As people listen to the genre, it tells me the

audience will be more inclined to buy it.

Q7

The majority of the people asked said they would like interviews more than the other options. As this is the most popular I will include interviews about up and coming bands in my magazine. I will also include gig information in my magazine as it is the second most popular answer. As my magazine is a music magazine, it will be very easy to get any gig information.

Q9

The band which was repeated was Decade. I will try and use this band in my contents page as they are more popular in my results than the rest.

Some of the bands are already in the pop-punk/rock genre and I will use the ideas given by these people to give me ideas on the bands I will use in my magazine.

The majority of the people I asked ad they would like to see 5-6 posters in a magazine. I will try to gather an array of images from different bands I could use to make the reader have a choice of images to choose for their wall. It will also make the reader happy by getting "free” posters.
