products/target audience

For my music magazine I spent long and hard deciding what genre and style i am going to use for my final coursework. I finally came up with the idea of doing a niche market magazine aimed at an Indie/ scene style audience. I chose this specific genre as I believe they are very edgy and unique which gives me more of a benefit when producing my magazine as i can explore different aspects and be more imaginative. Producing a magazine for a niche market wont affect my sales as this allows me to focus on this particular type of audience and lets me meet their needs in a more satisfying way.
