Audi A8 4.2 TDI launched at Rs 1.075 crore

Audi has again taken the experience of luxury to a newer level. The automaker presented the fully loaded A8 L 4.2 TDI with a price tag of Rs. 1 crore 75 thousand (ex-showroom Maharashtra) today.

The car features a V8 4.2 TDI q diesel engine that delivers maximum power of 350bhp and a peak torque of 800Nm. The engine has been coupled with a ZF eight-speed automatic tiptronic gearbox with DSP and sport program with all-wheel drive option.

With a top-speed of 250kmph, the A8 touches the 100kmph mark from standstill in just 5.6seconds. Apart from such performance, the luxury car is also loaded with dual-circuit brake system with diagonal split with ESP, hydraulic brake assist, front and rear disk brakes, electromechanical parking brake

The car is actually too appealing to be resisted. Bollywood actor, Abhishek Bachchan is being reported to be taking the delivery of a customized avatar of the A8 soon.

It seems that the fight between the street machines has begun as the Audi A8 TDI joins the league of competitors BMW 7 and Mercedes S Class.
