resorts and major highways.

Yes, nature is front and centre in this part of Argenteuil as mixed forests, rivers and

Un secret bien gardé…

L’Auberge Val-Carroll se situe à 40 kilomètres du centre villageois de Saint-Jovite (ville de Mont-

Tremblant), à 110 kilomètres de Montréal et à 120 kilomètres d’Ottawa. L’auberge principale a

été déménagée sur les lieux en 1987 et a fait l’objet d’une rénovation complète avant son

ouverture, en 1989.

La salle à manger aménagée à l’intérieur du bâtiment principal peut accueillir jusqu’à 80

personnes. L’auberge offre un service de restauration complet, avec table d’hôte de quatre à

cinq services, selon la demande des clients.

Une salle de réunion, à l'intérieur d'un pavillon érigé en 1997 et rattaché à l'auberge, permet

d'accueillir environ 100 personnes. L’entreprise dispose également d’un permis de restauration

et d’alcool.

La chapelle, située à proximité de l’auberge, consiste en un immeuble déménagé à Kilmar en

1932 et finalement déplacée sur le site en octobre 1995. Son cachet original a été conservé avec

soin. On y célèbre des cérémonies de mariage de mai à octobre. À l'étage inférieur de la chapelle,

on retrouve un appartement rénové de 3 ½ pièces.

Une maison d’invités a été construite près du pavillon en 1994. Celle-ci renferme cinq chambres

(avec salle de bains privée) disponibles pour la location.

Le site est avantagé par l'accès au lac privé, situé à proximité de l’auberge principale, sur lequel

on pratique le canot, le kayak et la baignade. On retrouve des sentiers de ski de fond et de

randonnée pédestre sur une distance d’environ 20 kilomètres, traversant le site boisé d’un

couvert forestier conservé intact.



A well-kept secret…

Val Carroll Inn is located 40 km from the village centre of St-Jovite (town of Mont-Tremblant),

110 km from the city of Montreal and 120 km from Ottawa.

The main inn was moved to the site in 1987 and was completely renovated before opening in

1989.

The dining room inside the main inn may accommodate up to 80 guests. The inn offers a

complete meal service with a table d’hôte of 4 to 5 courses as the client may wish.

There is a meeting room which may accommodate about 100 people. This is a pavilion attached

to the inn and built in 1997. The enterprise holds a license to serve food and liquor.

A chapel is located near the inn. This building was moved to Kilmar in 1932 and finally installed

on this foundation in October 1995. Its original charm has been carefully maintained. Marriage

ceremonies may be celebrated here between the months of May and October. The lower floor of

the chapel is a renovated 1 bedroom apartment.

A guest house was built near the pavilion in 1994. It contains 5 bedrooms with private bath and

these are available for rent.

The site benefits from the presence of an access to private lake located near the main inn, where

one may enjoy canoeing, kayaking and swimming. About 20 km of cross-country ski trails and

hiking paths cross through the original forested area.
