Suspension ( IRS) and our exclusive automotive-style three-speed automatic

Honda FourTrax Foreman® Rubicon™

way out in front of the competition.

The Hondamatic is a unique, continu-

ously variable automatic. Instead of

bolting up to a conventional gearbox,

the Rubicon’s engine connects to a

sophisticated variable hydraulic pump.

What that means to you is plenty of

shifting or no-shifting options, depend-

ing on how much torque and power

you want, and on the riding conditions.

You can control it, or you can let it

handle everything automatically. And

like the FourTrax Rincon, the Rubicon

is also available with our exclusive

GPScape navigation package.

FOREMAN 4X4

FOURTRAX FOREMAN 4X4/ES WITH

ELECTRIC POWER STEERING Here’s

one of the biggest breakthroughs

ever in ATV engineering, and Honda

pioneered it. Electric Power Steering

(EPS), available on a FourTrax

Foreman® 4x4. Precise steering

feedback and less steering effort are

the start, and that’s especially helpful

when negotiating obstacles like ruts,

rocks and logs. EPS also helps isolate

bumps and kickback through the bar

at all speeds. Once you experience it,

you’ll never go back!

Every model in our Foreman lineup

(four models in all this year) features

a powerful, rugged, proven 500-class

air-cooled engine, and each comes

with TraxLok, our shift-on-the-fly

FourTrax Foreman 4x4 offers a

conventional ATV-type foot-shift

transmission and an automatic

clutch; our ES model offers Honda’s

Electric Shift Program (ESP®)—just

decades now, Honda’s Rancher® line

of ATVs has been America’s favorite.

the two-wheel-drive Honda Rancher

is going to be plenty tough to do the

job. And we have two great options.

Both feature sturdy racks front and

rear and trailer-hitch attaching

points. The only real difference is

the way you shift. If you’re wearing

big, clunky, mud-covered boots, you

may appreciate the convenience of

our Electric Shift Program equipped

ES model, which makes shifting

gears as easy as moving your thumb.

Looking for a model any farmhand

can ride? Then pick the Rancher

with our conventional transmission.

FOURTRAX RECON/ES All-terrain

vehicles are getting bigger—that’s a

fact. And sometimes you need big—

but sometimes you don’t. That’s why

we build the Honda Recon® and

Recon ES. While they’re big on

Honda features, and as durable and

reliable as any of our other models,

they can fit into tighter spaces than

some of the bigger models on the

trail. With plenty of room for full-

sized riders, they both use direct

shaft drive to the rear wheels, and

both use powerful 250-class single-

cylinder engines

with wide powerbands and plenty of

torque. They’re the perfect choice

when you want full-sized perfor-

mance in a smaller, lighter ATV.
