Absenteeism and tardiness: The Labour Bureau Simla defined the term “absenteeism as the failure of a worker to report for ,when he is scheduled to work”.

Understanding the level of Morale: If management knows that the level of morale is low, than management can take appropriate actions by considering the various factors upon which morale is based.
Effective communication: Communication flows in all directions when people plan and conduct the survey and discuss its results and impact. Thus the morale survey automatically brings the benefit of valuable communication.
