Ok the traffic is arriving to your website…here they

come…are you ready…how do you stop them skipping

to the competitions site?

They are arriving at your website hungrily looking for the

widget or content that their keywords brought them to.

If they find their keywords on your site and it leads them to their wants…you are more than half

way there.

Offer them something for free…newsletter…e-book…report…anything, something.

The best traffic you will ever get is your email list…hands down.

Capture their email address with the offer…get them on your email list quickly, just remember

they have one foot out the door…ready to run to the competitions site…the grass is always

greener…the other sites may have a better offer.

Once you lose them it is rare indeed for them to come back-YOU MUST GIVE THEM GOOD

CONTENT or wave them goodbye.

A good copywriter can do this for you…a specialist copywriter can do it even better.

Auto responders that have killer content will likely send your sales through the roof!

You have them…now you need to look after them to keep them.

If you treat your customers as you would be treated…how can you fail?

A well thought up auto responder campaign sent out to your list will pay huge

dividends.

another lot sent after a short break.

When you have the audience’s attention…when they trust you, they will start to buy.

If your customer is happy with everything, you may have them for a very long time…they will buy

off you time and time again.

Attracting FREE traffic through LinkedIn.

You can attract a lot of traffic by having an optimized profile on

LinkedIn.

The beauty of this is that it is free and if done properly you can

attract a lot of warm leads.

You need to start your business profile with a good description of

your background under the Summary Tag.

Follow this up with a good description of what you or your business does.

Sprinkle a few targeted keywords related to your business throughout these tags.

That is the secret of getting your profile seen…keywords!

Write a blog at least once a week to attract attention.

Join groups in LinkedIn.

Like their posts.

Under Skills Tag…write down all skills related to your business in order of importance.

Have a link back to your website.

Comment on other posts.

Invite as many prospects as you can to connect (but do not spam them…be polite).

Insert your LinkedIn link to all your email signatures.

Have a proffessional photo of yourself.

Ask for endorsements and reccomendations.

Thank people for connecting… endorsements and reccomendations.

Always answer emails and be polite and you will soon find that many people will want to

connect with you and some will show interest in your product or service.

Write an e-book and give it away free on LinkedIn or find a free one online relavant to

your business or service and give it away.

In your e-book have a link back to your website…sales page…or landing page with a

strong call to action.

Above all be active…do something…anything every day.

Once you have your profile nicely set up you then need to upgrade to a Premium Account.

The benefits make it well worthwhile to get noticed.

The first month is free.

Before the month is over you can opt out if you so wish.

If you find that you do not have time to do all this, there are sites like Fiverr who have skilled

people to do this for you for $5.

Some of these people are very good at what they do and I have used their services with some

great results over the years.

A professional looking business card will pay dividends!

Get some professional looking business cards printed with…

a high grade finish and photo image.

Your website link.

LinkedIn link.

Phone number.

On the back of your card you need to show your reader ‘whats in it for me’…

how you can benefit your reader.

A strong call to action.

Google wants good quality content…make it fresh →→→

A few years ago you could stuff keywords all over your website

and in the source code and get very high ranking.

Not anymore…

Good quality content is the order of the day.

To get noticed and not penalized you need…

Good relevant content.

Content that is a helpful source.

Staying on subject.

A few keywords woven into your content and headlines that has a natural flow.

A good sharing system using a blog…LinkedIn…Facebook…Twitter etc.

A consistent update of your site.

Blogs and comments that get others involved.
