Another cause of ADHD is the mother's behavior during pregnancy. Drug or alcohol use during pregnancy can lead to several birth defects. One of which may be ADHD

Studies indicate that people with ADHD are significantly more likely to have lifetime depression than those that do not (Daviss). This may be attributed to symptoms of ADHD however.

These problems are usually noticeable, but minor. In the case of long-term memory, the problem is often that the person was not paying attention while he or she was receiving the information

There is really no proof that anxiety is caused by ADHD, but there is definitely a correlation. It is of course possible that the other symptoms of ADHD, such as impulsivity are what cause the anxiety
