TO WHO IT MAY CONCERN SUBJECT: JOB RECOMMENDATION FOR NICHOLAS PATRICK TOKMUN, STUDENT ID: UM25544BPR33948. Dear Selection & Recruitment Committee,

I am writing this letter to give my highest possible recommendation for Mr. Nicholas Patrick Tokmun. I know Mr. Tokmun through his post graduate studies with AIU for Master in Project Management major in Project, Training & Development Management. Mr. Tokmun had first approached me through email two years ago about the possibility of providing a job recommendation after the completion of his post graduate studies. At that email discussion I explain the general outline of the requirement of the subject that is the successful completion of post graduate studies. At this juncture successfully completing his post graduate studies it is of my highest pleasure to provide this recommendation. Mr. Tokmun asked good questions and appeared intelligent. Online he has used the AIU Virtual Library and found many papers on the subject and read them carefully to comply with his academic requirements’ of his studies. He did this independently as an online student thus I am very much impressed with quality of academic work submitted. I learned that he had done this extremely well and successfully in the four (4) years studying with AIU, and I was quite impressed at his motivation and independence. During his study period, Mr. Tokmun demonstrated the ability to work independently with great creativity and enthusiasm. He also put in many long hours as evident with his online academic submission late or early hours on days he submits. He worked as hard as my best graduate online student by far for quite a while now. Enrolled in 2013 beginning and towards the end of 2014 academic year Mr. Tokmun opted out studies according to AIU records due to financial difficulties and constraints. In my role as academic tutor I am also responsible to convince my best academic performing online students to re – activated their studies. Beginning 2016 January I was able to convinced Nicholas to re – activated his studies through the new AIU Accelerated Learning Program. He has not looked back than however vigorously put all his time and efforts to accomplish the accelerated learning program to successfully complete his post graduate studies. Nicholas excelled in this program with most of the courses’ completed with ranking of High Distinction. His inter - personal skills were excellent as well as his communication skills as an online student. According to other academic tutors’ who were also charged with Nicholas studies have found him to be extraordinary student who sets his sight on a target and sets the deadline and work towards achieving the result (s). Mr. Tokmun interacted with this academic tutors’ very well in order to get his program done.

He was able to find a common interest with academic tutors’ evidently as it was noted by academic tutors’ what a pleasure it was to work with Mr. Tokmun. An excellent example is when he re – activated his academic studies this year (2016) January through the Accelerated Learning Program he undoubtedly put in everything into five (5) short months in consultation with academic tutors’ to comply to AIU expectations’ and requirements’ to come out on top of the program with flying colours. Mr. Tokmun doesn’t stop until set deadline are very much achieve. I was especially taken by Mr. Tokmun’s creative mind and independent work ethic. He continued to read the literature independently online in the AIU Virtual Library and generate interesting academic papers’. We met online about every other week, and I found his presented papers and information that was new to me. In this course of his study period he was introducing me to different papers that were directly relevant to his study that I hadn’t seen before. Mr. Tokmun also showed remarkable problem solving ability. Through AIU designed, approved and rolled out accelerated learning program to assist post graduate students’ in a shorter period to complete studies maintaining standards, Mr. Tokmun has been able to complete the program with cohort group. The University will use their work to review and take the program to the next level. Their work will be documented on the AIU website for public consumption, learning and research. This illustrates his high level of motivation, skills set, work ethics, self - discipline and the eagerness to get assigned task (s) on time or before the closing date or set deadlines. At this juncture wish commend Nicholas for achieving post graduate qualification in “MASTER IN PROJECT MANAGEMENT”. In summary, Mr. Tokmun is clearly the best student I have worked with in the last 10 years. I would very much like him match to our residency program. I think he would be an outstanding asset to your organisation / institution / company. I give him my highest recommendation. Sincerely, Arturo Gonzalez Vejar. ACADEMIC TUTOR, AIU Master in Project Management (MPM)
