The Foundation’s primary focus is to award college scholarships to graduating high school seniors in Okla- homa. Scholarships are awarded to applicants who, in the Foundation’s view, most exemplify the characteristics Jason Wagner had in life: in- tegrity, intelligence and kind- ness. “Jason was so full of life,” Collins said. “My hope is that through the Foundation, his legacy will live on and that because of his life, the lives of our fellow Okla- homans will be enriched through the gift of education. I know he would be honored by the success our scholar- ship recipients have achieved, and that’s really our purpose: to honor Jason, and to help others achieve their dreams.” Students who are selected by the Foundation will re- ceive at least a $1,000 schol- arship to be used at the Oklahoma college of their choice. Henryetta VFWAny veteran wishing to

The Schulter Pre-K andKindergarten pre-enrollmentfor new students will be from8:30 a.m.-4:00 p.m. in the highschool office on May 15th andMay 16th, 2014.

If your child has been at-tending our Pre-K programthis year, you will not need topre-enroll for kindergarten.

The Pre-K students musthave turned 4 years old on orbefore September 1, 2014, andthe Kindergarten studentsshould be 5 years old on or be-fore September 1, 2014.

Parents will need to bringan up-to-date immunizationrecord, a copy of the child’s

birth certificate, social securitycard, and CDIB card, if appli-cable. Parents who are in theprocess of acquiring theneeded verifications can com-plete the basic enrollment formso that Schulter School willhave a reliable student numberfor planning for the 2014/2015school year.

The Kindergarten studentswill be required to have com-pleted the Hepatitis A and Bseries, or at least started thefirst dose and must completethe series on schedule, havethe Varicella (chickenpox) vac-cination or a statement thatthey have had the chickenpox

disease. They must have re-ceived five DTP/DTaP/Td,four Polio, and two MMR.

The Pre-K students shouldbe in the process of receivingthe appropriate immunizationsbased on the child’s age. Thismeans four DTP/DTaP/Td,three polio, one MMR, com-pleted the Hepatitis A and B,(Two Hep. A and three Hep. B)or at least started the first doseand must complete the serieson schedule, and one dose ofVaricella or a statement fromthe parent that they have hadthe chickenpox disease.
