And that’s the purpose of this effort: to spread the word about ATRA and ATRA Member shops. Over the past couple months we’ve shared some of the results of ATRA’s efforts to reach consumers. And these are just the ones we know about. In addition, I’ve had the opportunity to speak directly to con-sumers through the Coach Ron Tunick radio show (www.am1400coach.com). His show is syndicated to over 60 sta-tions nationwide, spreading the word about ATRA from coast to coast.

The results have been fantastic: Over the last three months, the atra.com consumer site has seen a dra-matic leap in traffic. As you can see from the graph, the atra.com web site has received a dramatic increase in pageviews (as reported from Google Analytics) starting in June; it’s an increase of 106%.

And now there’s a new feature on the site: Every ATRA Member has a city search link for the ATRA Local Search feature; even towns like Pearcy, Arkansas, with a population of about 3,000. The system automatically builds a local search page for members listed in the member data base) it generally

takes about a month for the search engines to begin viewing them in search queries).

Consumers are beginning to learn that ATRA is a great source for trans-mission information and that ATRA Member shops are their best choice for transmission repair. And we’re only just beginning: We’ll keep it going and keep you posted.
