O K photoabsorption (Garcia et al 2005)

Fe K photoabsorptionPalmeri et al (2002)

Following our work on the atomic data for the X-ray spectral modeling of Fe and O, we intend to compute…

• For elements with 10 ≤ Z ≤ 20• Energy levels, and radiative and Auger widths for K-

vacancy states• Photoabsorption cross sections of the K shell

• RR cascade and line emission for isoelectronic sequences with N > 2

• Auger cascades for ions with Z=26 and N > 9

• Outer and inner-shell photoionization cross sections and K line spectrum of Z=28

There is a severe lack of measurements for the energies of K vacancy states with 10≤ Z≤ 20
