Povse Collects Weekly HonorCarolina Mudcats starter RHP Max Povse earned the first weekly award of his professional career after being named Carolina League Pitcher of the Week for the period of 4/7-17. He made a pair of starts during the week and fired 13.0 scoreless innings, allowing just four hits and two walks while fanning 14. The Mudcats went 2-0 in his starts.

Originally a third-round selection by the Braves in the 2014 First-Year Player Draft, Povse owns a career record of 10-7 with a 3.51 ERA in 31 career games (30 starts), striking out 111 in 138.1 innings.
