Job Description
We have positions in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain & Kuwait.

As a Graduate Structural Engineer within the our Middle East business you
will be given exposure to a number of business areas such as Rail, Highways,
Water, Utilities, Property, Airports, & Planning, whilst ensuring we provide you
with the relevant experience required to achieve chartership.

Requirements
We are looking for individuals with good communication skills who have the
ability to not only lead but also work as part of a team. Typically our
graduates will hold a minimum degree classification of 2.1 or equivalent in a
MEng/MSc Structural Engineering degree, and possess the ability to
communicate effectively with clients in English and operate in a competitive
and commercial environment. Preference will be given to candidates with a
specialis t further degree.
Responsibilities
This is a full-time role working Sunday to Thursday, 8am-6pm. You will
join Atkins as a Graduate Structural Engineer within the Middle East
business. You will be assigned to projects across the region within our
current portfolio of work; including projects such as Etihad Rail which is the
largest Rail project in the Middle East, the development of King Abdulaziz
International Airport in Jeddah, and the Masdar carbon-neutral city in Abu
Dhabi.
At an initial career appraisal your academic experience (and work experience
where applicable) will be discussed. A personal training programme will then
be tailored to suit your particular areas of interest, aptitudes and career
aspirations. Your training programme will include work in the design office and

periods of site work, together with formal in-house and external training.

continuously develop your technical & behavioural skills
Ability to apply technical knowledge in analysing problems and

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
Ability to work on your own initiative
